Grounds Manager

As the Grounds Manager you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of all resort exterior areas while delivering an exceptional first impression for guests and owners. This leadership role oversees grounds operations, landscaping, and exterior maintenance activities to ensure the resort remains clean, welcoming, and well-maintained.
Oversee the maintenance, appearance, and cleanliness of all resort grounds, landscaping, and exterior facilities.
Supervise, train, schedule, and support grounds team members to ensure high performance and productivity.
Assign, prioritize, and monitor daily work activities to ensure projects and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Conduct regular inspections of exterior areas to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.
Coordinate landscaping, irrigation, seasonal planting, tree care, and grounds enhancement projects.
Manage equipment, tools, and materials to support effective grounds operations.
Resolve operational issues and employee concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor and improve departmental processes to increase efficiency and maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with other resort departments to support property-wide initiatives and guest satisfaction goals.
Maintain a safe work environment by promoting and enforcing workplace safety practices.
Support the overall guest experience by ensuring all exterior areas reflect the resort's quality and brand standards.
Previous leadership experience in grounds, landscaping, horticulture, property maintenance, or related field.
Strong knowledge of landscaping practices, irrigation systems, and grounds maintenance operations.
Experience supervising teams and managing multiple projects and priorities.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as needed.
