Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Define and communicate product vision, goals, and priorities for assigned capabilities and workstreams.
Partner with stakeholders across business, operations, technology, risk, and compliance to understand needs and identify opportunities.
Translate business objectives and customer needs into clear product requirements and prioritized backlog items.
Lead discovery efforts to validate assumptions, understand pain points, and identify high-value opportunities.
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and UX teams to define solutions that are valuable, feasible, and sustainable.
Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term product strategy and platform objectives.
Establish success measures and use data, customer feedback, and operational insights to guide decisions.
Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, roadmap discussions, and release planning activities.
Drive alignment across multiple teams working toward shared business outcomes.
Communicate product direction, progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, program leadership, or a related discipline.
Experience defining requirements and working with Agile delivery teams.
Experience managing priorities across multiple stakeholders and competing objectives.
Experience translating business problems into actionable solutions.
Preferred Skills / Experience
Experience leading product initiatives involving enterprise platforms, digital applications, or customer-facing capabilities.
Strong understanding of product discovery, product strategy, and roadmap development.
Ability to break complex business processes into manageable product capabilities and iterative delivery plans.
Experience working closely with software engineering, architecture, and UX teams.
Knowledge of Agile product management techniques, backlog management, and story refinement.
Experience using metrics, customer feedback, and operational data to guide prioritization and decision making.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience navigating large-scale organizational change and transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with banking, payments, commercial card, treasury, financial services, or regulated industries is beneficial but not required.
Strong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preference to have BFS exp
