Crew process improvement associates measure and document customer satisfaction, cost and time reduction, and quality improvement processes and develop strategies to improve them.
Responsibilities
Requirements and Business Analysis
Gather and document requirements from global process owners, site subject matter experts, and business stakeholders
Analyze current processes and identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and system functionality
Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
Help align site-specific needs with global processes and standards
Delivery and Backlog Support
Partner with Product Owners, project managers, and development teams to refine and prioritize the backlog
Work with internal IT teams and external vendors to clarify requirements and resolve questions throughout delivery
Review proposed solutions and delivered functionality to ensure alignment with business requirements
Stakeholder Engagement and Adoption
Serve as a liaison between Quality, Manufacturing, and IT teams
Facilitate discussions to align stakeholders on requirements, priorities, and process changes
Support change management, user training, and communications for new or enhanced systems
Testing and Documentation
Support user acceptance testing, including developing test scenarios, coordinating business participation, and tracking issues through resolution
Create and maintain requirements, process documentation, user guides, and work instructions
Follow applicable GxP, validation, and documentation standards in partnership with Quality and validation teams
Qualifications
1–3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT, data, or digital initiatives
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or another regulated environment
Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation skills
Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, user stories, and sprint ceremonies
Experience using Jira or similar project and requirements management tools
Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors
Experience supporting user acceptance testing, training, or system adoption
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Quality or Manufacturing processes and enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, or QMS
Familiarity with GxP requirements and computerized system validation
Experience working with global teams or supporting initiatives across multiple sites
The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
