HR Generalist

The HR Generalist will serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers across a broad range of HR activities, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits administration, and HR compliance. The role requires a proactive, customer-oriented HR professional who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and is committed to delivering excellent HR services.
This position is temporary for 2 years due to parental leave replacement.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing support to our employees on general HR-related matters
Supporting and advising managers on operational HR issues
Drafting employment contracts, contract amendments, performance reviews, and other HR documents
Managing HR administration from hire to termination
Assistance with performance reviews and labor law issues
Collaboration with the works council
Preparation of payroll
Coordination of the recruiting process, from posting job openings to conducting interviews
Contributing to the optimization and further development of our HR processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field or completed business appreniceship.
Minimum 3 years of professional HR experience in a generalist role.
Solid knowledge of German labor law and HR best practices.
Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
