Role Description The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the overall information technology vision, strategy, and operations at Taha Tech Solutions. This role involves leading the IT function to support digital agency services, including managing infrastructure, systems, security, and data governance. The CIO will collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategy with business objectives, optimize business processes, and ensure technology solutions are scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. Day-to-day tasks include directing IT teams, prioritizing projects, implementing best practices in IT management, monitoring performance and risk, and driving continuous improvement in systems and workflows. The CIO will also evaluate emerging technologies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Information Technology and IT Operations to manage infrastructure, systems, and security effectively.
Candidates should possess skills in IT Management to lead teams, oversee projects, and maintain high service levels.
Candidates should possess skills in IT Strategy and Business Process to align technology initiatives with organizational goals and optimize workflows.
Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably as CIO, CTO, or equivalent in a digital, marketing, or technology-focused organization.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term technology roadmaps and transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of cloud-based solutions, data analytics, cybersecurity practices, and enterprise software platforms.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are beneficial.
