Senior Zero Trust & Network Security Engineer
Location: Germany – Remote
Engagement: Long-term Contract / Freelance
Seniority: Senior / Lead
Experience: 6+ years preferred
Mandatory location requirement
Candidates must currently live and be resident in Germany.
Although the assignment is remote, applications from professionals living outside Germany cannot be considered.
Role
TH3RA Consulting is looking for a Senior Zero Trust & Network Security Engineer for a large-scale enterprise cybersecurity transformation programme.
The role requires a strong combination of Network Security, Enterprise Networking, NGFW, Zero Trust, SASE/SSE and network segmentation expertise.
Responsibilities
Design secure enterprise network and security architectures.
Design and implement Zero Trust security solutions.
Deploy and operate enterprise NGFW environments.
Design SASE / SSE architectures.
Implement segmentation and micro-segmentation.
Develop HLDs and LLDs.
Define migration strategies and operational procedures.
Participate in PoCs and technology evaluations.
Lead technical assessments and root-cause analysis.
Integrate network security with identity, cloud and security platforms.
Work across Network Engineering, Security Engineering, IAM, Cloud and Operations teams.
