Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Angul. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing civil engineering plans and drawings, including site layouts, roadworks, drainage, and structural elements. Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers and site teams, performing calculations, preparing technical reports, and ensuring compliance with local codes and safety regulations. The role involves overseeing stormwater and other utility systems, conducting site visits, monitoring construction progress, and resolving technical issues. The Civil Engineer will also collaborate with stakeholders, support planning approvals, and contribute to project scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, including the ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and specifications.
Candidates should possess skills in Planning and project coordination, with the ability to manage timelines, resources, and documentation.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure systems, including drainage design and regulatory compliance.
Candidates should be qualified Civil Engineers with a recognized degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Relevant experience in infrastructure or construction projects, preferably in onsite roles, is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and environmental regulations applicable to projects in Angul or similar regions.
