AI, Software & Brand Company: Hydrawav3
Position: Part-Time / Flexible, with potential to grow into an expanded leadership role
Location: Remote / Hybrid Company Stage: Early-stage commercial technology startup
About Hydrawav3:
Hydrawav3 is building the next generation of wearable wellness and performance technology. Our platform combines a physical wearable system, intelligent software, structured protocols, and an evolving AI ecosystem designed for wellness, mobility, recovery, sports performance, and professional environments. The core Hydrawav3 technology and product are already developed and in the market. Our next phase is focused on scaling the existing platform - expanding our software and AI capabilities, improving the customer experience, developing complementary products and accessories, strengthening customer support, accelerating software releases, and building a recognizable global brand. We are looking for someone who can help connect all of these pieces and take meaningful ownership of where the product goes next.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly entrepreneurial Product & Commercialization Lead - AI, Software & Brand who can work closely with the Founder/CEO to translate customer needs, market opportunities, emerging technologies, and the company's long-term vision into a clear and executable product roadmap. This is a cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of product management, product marketing, AI, software, hardware, customer experience, brand, and commercialization. The candidate will work with our existing teams and partners across software development, electronics, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, quality, clinical strategy, marketing, and customer support. You are not expected to personally engineer every component of the product. However, you should understand technology well enough to communicate effectively with engineers, developers, manufacturers, designers, and business teams.
Where does the product need to go next? Why does it need to go there?
What does the customer need? And how do we organize the company and teams to execute this?
Responsibilities:
You will help own and continuously develop the Hydrawav3 product and commercialization roadmap across hardware, software, AI, customer experience, brand, and future products.
Own and manage the overall product roadmap and help prioritize product development initiatives.
Lead the vision and requirements for the Hydrawav3 mobile application, software releases, AI features, digital experiences, and future intelligent products.
Translate customer feedback, market trends, business opportunities, and technical capabilities into product improvements and new offerings.
Identify opportunities for new accessories, complementary products, software features, services, enterprise capabilities, and recurring revenue models.
Coordinate with software, electronics, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, quality, clinical, marketing, and customer-support teams to keep projects aligned to a common product vision.
Improve customer onboarding, product education, training, technical support, user experience, and overall customer engagement.
Help develop and communicate Hydrawav3's product story through website content, presentations, demonstrations, marketing materials, sales tools, launches, social media, and other brand communications.
Turn complex technical concepts into clear messages that customers, partners, investors, and the broader market can understand.
Continuously evaluate how AI, computer vision, neural networks, intelligent recommendation systems, connected devices, and emerging technologies could strengthen the Hydrawav3 platform.
Help ensure that software upgrades, product improvements, accessories, customer-support systems, and new initiatives move from concept through execution.
Take strong ownership of projects, follow up across teams, identify roadblocks, and help drive initiatives to completion. The goal is not simply to manage marketing or manage software. The goal is to ensure that what Hydrawav3 builds, what customers experience, and what the market understands about the company remain aligned.
Qualifications & Ideal Candidate:
We care strongly about mindset, technical curiosity, ownership, and execution ability. Experience working in product management, product marketing management, or an early-stage startup environment for at least one year is strongly preferred and considered a major plus. Exceptional students or candidates who can demonstrate equivalent entrepreneurial, technical, or product-building experience are also encouraged to apply.
Strong product and entrepreneurial thinking.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
The ability to understand customer needs and convert them into product requirements, priorities, and roadmaps.
Strong ownership and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
A good understanding of technology and an ability to communicate across software, electronics, mechanical design, fabrication, manufacturing, and business teams.
Strong interest in AI, emerging technology, connected devices, and intelligent software.
Familiarity with mobile applications, APIs, software development processes, AI systems, or IoT products is a plus.
Experience with wearable technology, biomedical engineering, sports technology, health/wellness technology, consumer electronics, or digital health is a plus.
An ability to see both the big-picture vision and the individual steps required to execute it.
Candidates may come from backgrounds including product management, product marketing, biomedical engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, computer science, AI, technology management, entrepreneurship, product design, digital health, sports technology, or related fields. AI Fluency Is Important AI should already be part of how you work. Candidates should be highly comfortable using ChatGPT and other modern AI tools for research, product development, analysis, ideation, communication, prototyping, documentation, content creation, and everyday problem-solving. You do not need to be an AI researcher or machine-learning engineer, but you should understand where AI technology is heading and be capable of helping translate those capabilities into meaningful products and customer experiences.
Position, Compensation & How to Apply:
For students and early-career candidates, this will primarily be a part-time paid position that can be structured around an academic schedule. The right candidate will receive meaningful responsibility and direct exposure to product strategy, software, AI, hardware, manufacturing, commercialization, marketing, and startup operations. For candidates with significant and directly relevant professional experience, we are open to discussing a broader or potentially full-time leadership opportunity. Depending on experience, commitment, and long-term alignment, compensation may include higher cash compensation and potential startup equity / stock participation. We are ultimately looking for someone who thinks like an owner - someone capable of looking at the product today, understanding what it could become several years from now, and taking responsibility for helping Hydrawav3 get there.
