Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and development of electrical subsystems for next-generation video conferencing and collaboration products. Success in this role requires the ability to balance research and development objectives with practical considerations for manufacturing, quality, reliability, and scalability.
Responsibilities
Define and drive electrical architecture decisions to support
innovative product development and long-term scalability.
Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems integrating audio, video, and peripheral technologies.
Evaluate technical tradeoffs and make design recommendations that balance performance, cost, quality, and manufacturability.
Develop, test, and refine prototypes to validate designs and ensure production readiness.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate hardware, firmware, mechanical, and system-level requirements.
Ensure designs are optimized for high-volume manufacturing, reliability, and product commercialization.
Provide technical leadership in electrical subsystem design and system integration.
Identify and resolve technical challenges throughout the product development lifecycle.
Support the transition of products from concept through development and into production.
Drive the delivery of innovative, scalable, and production-ready solutions that meet business and customer requirements.
Education & Experience Recommended
Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on PCB-based product design and development.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Proven experience designing and developing electrical subsystems and architectures for commercial microcontroller-based embedded systems.
Strong expertise in PCB design and layout, schematic capture, component selection, signal integrity, power distribution, and system integration.
Demonstrated experience designing products that can be successfully scaled for high-volume manufacturing.
Experience leading electrical designs through the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through validation and production release.
Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), reliability, and product quality considerations.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including mechanical, firmware, software, manufacturing, and quality engineering.
Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and make architecture decisions that balance performance, cost, manufacturability, and scalability.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing electrical subsystems for audio/video, conferencing, consumer electronics, communication devices, or other complex embedded hardware products.
Experience with high-speed digital design, mixed-signal systems, and interface technologies.
Familiarity with industry-standard PCB design and simulation tools.
Experience developing products within an R&D environment while maintaining a strong design-for-scale mindset.

Salary
The pay range for this role is $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
