About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team at Actemium. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation systems that meet our clients' specific needs. You will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative automation solutions that enhance productivity, safety, and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in industrial automation, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to project execution. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field. Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in industrial automation or a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA systems, HMI development, and industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profibus, or Modbus is essential. Familiarity with CAD software and industrial safety standards will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies are also required.
Responsibilities
Design and develop automation control systems tailored to client specifications, ensuring functionality, safety, and efficiency. Collaborate with project teams to define technical requirements and develop detailed project plans. Program PLCs, HMI interfaces, and SCADA systems to facilitate seamless operation of industrial processes. Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems to ensure optimal performance. Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs, configurations, and modifications. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve automation solutions.
