What You Will Do
Perform specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs.
Provide input to assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care.
Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.

What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of previous experience in a similar role.
Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
CNA certification preferred.
