GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our supportive team, working across our clinics at Cabrini and Peninsula Private Hospitals.
This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit and experienced nursing team, providing high-quality, patient-centred care and supporting patients throughout their cancer treatment journey. Working alongside our multidisciplinary team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring every patient receives compassionate care and an exceptional treatment experience.
On offer is a part-time role, on a max term contract through to April 2027.
More specifically, you will:
Complete patient assessments and support the ongoing clinical management of care.
Provide compassionate emotional, psychological and practical support to patients and their families.
Provide comprehensive patient education throughout the treatment journey.
Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists and the broader multidisciplinary team.
Maintain your professional development and identify opportunities to grow your clinical knowledge and skills.
Deliver safe, high-quality care in accordance with policies, procedures and evidence-based practice.
Contribute positively to team goals and continuous improvement.
Bring a positive, enthusiastic and collaborative approach to your work.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients and their carers.
Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
The ability to plan and coordinate the clinical management of patient care.
A commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Previous oncology experience is highly regarded.
