Role Description This part-time, remote Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role supports residents and patients through coordination of care, documentation, and communication tasks that can be completed off-site. Day-to-day responsibilities may include updating electronic health records, communicating with on-site clinical staff, assisting with care plans, and helping monitor patient status through remote reporting tools. The CNA will collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate information flow, timely follow-up, and adherence to care protocols. The role requires consistent availability during scheduled hours, participation in virtual team meetings, and adherence to all regulatory, privacy, and safety standards.
Qualifications
Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and good standing with the appropriate state registry.
Experience in long-term care, respiratory care, or skilled nursing facilities is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with electronic health records, basic computer skills, and remote communication tools (email, video conferencing, secure messaging).
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with on-site clinical teams.
Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards, and commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
Reliable internet access and a private, professional workspace suitable for remote healthcare responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in healthcare or related fields is beneficial.
