Job Description
Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Location: Remote (Must live in surrounding NC area for occasional in person meetings and training)
Answers a high volume of inbound calls, averaging 80-130 calls per day. Responds to calls politely, professionally, and efficiently.
Maintains a calm demeanor while handling stressful interactions, and troubleshoots problems and concerns.
Accesses a variety of resources for accurate, complete, and appropriate management of calls.
Assists callers and patients with needs such as selecting providers, scheduling appointments, and preparing patients for their first appointment.
Schedules new and established patient appointments and assists patients with patient portal access.
Communicates prescription refill requests and other messages to clinic staff. Develops an excellent working relationship with departments, clinic, and medical staff to facilitate patient communication and care.
Maintains a strong working knowledge of all computer systems and communication tools.
