FRD Associate (Pharmaceuticals/ Nutraceuticals)

Role Description The FRD Associate (Pharmaceuticals/Nutraceuticals) is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. The role involves designing and executing formulation research and development projects for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products, including pre-formulation studies, compatibility assessments, and stability evaluations. The FRD Associate will develop and optimize formulations, prepare and review technical documentation, and contribute to protocol development for clinical and non-clinical studies related to product performance. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with cross-functional teams in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and production, supporting technology transfer, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and quality standards. The role also requires maintaining accurate records, analyzing experimental data, and providing clear reports and inputs for continuous improvement of formulations and processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in protocol development and documentation for formulation and related research activities.
Candidates should possess experience working with Clinical Research Associates and cross-functional clinical teams to support product-related studies.
Candidates should possess knowledge of clinical trials processes and basics of regulatory and ethical requirements relevant to pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.
Candidates should possess solid research skills, including experimental design, data analysis, and scientific reporting.
Candidates should possess understanding of clinical operations and coordination between R&D, manufacturing, and quality functions.
Relevant academic background such as a degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and other applicable regulatory guidelines for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory and documentation work.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
Prior experience in formulation development or R&D in pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals is highly beneficial.
