Role Description The Afbc Boiler Desk Engineer will oversee the efficient and safe operation of AFBC boilers within the power generation unit at the Banswara facility. Responsibilities include monitoring boiler parameters, controlling steam generation processes, and coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. The role involves troubleshooting operational issues, maintaining logs and reports, and supporting compliance with safety, environmental, and energy efficiency standards. The engineer will collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to optimize power systems integration with plant operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Banswara.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of power generation and power systems relevant to industrial boiler operations.
Candidates should possess hands-on experience with steam systems, including monitoring, control, and safety procedures.
Candidates should possess a solid foundation in electrical engineering as applied to plant utilities and boiler control systems.
Candidates should possess awareness of renewable and alternative energy concepts, including wind energy, as beneficial supplementary knowledge.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering (or related field).
Experience in operating AFBC or similar industrial boilers in a manufacturing or textile environment preferred.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals; familiarity with SCADA or DCS systems is an advantage.
Strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and energy efficiency, with effective communication and teamwork skills.
