Role Description The Associate – Design Lead role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru North. The role involves leading interior design projects from concept to execution, including developing design proposals, space planning, and selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings aligned with client requirements and brand standards. The Associate – Design Lead will coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams, manage project timelines, and ensure design quality and consistency throughout the project lifecycle. Daily responsibilities include preparing presentations and drawings, reviewing graphic and visual content for design communication, overseeing site visits, and supporting the resolution of design and execution challenges. This role also includes mentoring junior team members, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills, including the ability to present design concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
Project management capabilities, such as planning, organizing, and monitoring design and execution activities to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Graphic Design and Graphics skills for creating visual presentations, mood boards, and design collaterals that support client proposals and internal reviews.
Interior Design expertise, including space planning, material and color selection, and familiarity with residential design trends and standards.
Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop or similar software) and comfort with basic MS Office tools.
Relevant academic background, such as a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to dynamic client requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in residential interiors or construction projects and knowledge of local vendors and materials is an advantage.
