Role Description The Senior Research Analyst role at Bonanza Wealth is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The individual in this role will conduct in-depth market and sector research, analyze macroeconomic trends, and evaluate investment opportunities across asset classes such as equities, fixed income, and alternative investments. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining financial models, preparing detailed research reports and investment theses, and generating data-driven insights to support portfolio construction and advisory recommendations. The Senior Research Analyst will collaborate closely with portfolio managers, relationship teams, and senior leadership to refine investment strategies and support client presentations. The role also involves monitoring existing investments, tracking key performance indicators, and staying current with regulatory and industry developments to ensure research remains relevant and actionable.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, identify trends, and support evidence-based investment decisions.
Candidates should possess Market Research and Research capabilities to conduct primary and secondary research on sectors, companies, and macroeconomic factors.
Candidates should possess Statistics and quantitative skills to work with financial data, build models, and apply relevant statistical techniques.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present research findings clearly, prepare reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, MBA) are preferred.
Prior experience in equity research, investment analysis, or wealth/asset management, ideally in a senior or lead analyst capacity.
Proficiency with financial databases and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Indian capital markets and SEBI regulations.
Ability to work with integrity in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple research projects, and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
