The Opportunity
Our Distribution and Service Centre is looking for a Forklift Driver in our Processing and Logistics team based in Wingfield, SA. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.
Our Team Members support our logistics & warehouse operations in ensuring our products and solutions are delivered in a safe and timely manner for our customers. Working in a dynamic team environment, you will provide collaborative approach to a range of tasks such as the loading and unloading of trucks and rail, machine operation, scheduling, load marking and a variety of work that is both rewarding and fun.
This 12 month fixed term contract will be working on the Dayshift: Monday – Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday 5am- 11am hours with overtime eligibility.

What Will You Do?
Suggest and implement in continuous improvement ideas, identify safety issues and corrective actions and contribute to delivering our business plan activities and projects. This role will see you:
safely picking, loading and unloading our products from trucks and rail
operate gantry cranes, forklifts and processing machinery
be responsible for receiving and storing materials, picking and loading orders and other dispatch duties
providing occasional coverage in scheduling

Being a reliable and dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and develop yourself, you will also bring:
a current forklift ticket licence
experience operating forklifts greater than 5 tonne lift capacity

Recruitment Process
