Product Design Engineer – Medical Equipment

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Product Design Engineer with strong expertise in 3D product design and mechanical design, preferably in the medical equipment and mobility products domain.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop 3D models and mechanical components for medical and mobility products.
Work on the design and development of medical beds, wheelchairs, and motorized/automated wheelchairs.
Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
Develop and improve product designs based on functionality, ergonomics, safety, and manufacturability.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams for prototype development and product improvements.
Modify and optimize existing designs based on testing and production requirements.
Required Skills
Strong experience in 3D Product Design.
Hands-on experience with Fusion 360.
Experience with Rhino and ShapeMaker or similar 3D design tools.
Strong knowledge of mechanical components, assemblies, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Experience designing medical equipment, wheelchairs, medical beds, or mobility products is highly preferred.
Practical experience in prototype/product development.
Preferred Profile
Experience in medical device, assistive technology, mobility products, or industrial product design.
Strong understanding of ergonomics and user-focused product design.
Ability to take a product from concept → 3D design → prototype → final product.
