The Role
Location: Sydney
We have found a great balance of embracing flexible working whilst also maintaining in-office collaboration with most teams meeting in the office 3 days per week.
Epic Game Launches: Take charge of highly anticipated, top-secret game launches scheduled for next year. It's your chance to be at the forefront of the APAC gaming industry.
Lead the Hub: Direct the day-to-day media operations for a dedicated and well-resourced team, working a brilliant hybrid mix that includes Mondays and Thursdays at Mindshare, and Tuesdays right in the heart of the EA Games office!
Drive the Digital & OOH Strategy: Craft and execute brilliant digital direct and OOH media plans, helping to drive a new and exciting strategic shift towards performance ROI and deep audience validation.
Empower and Elevate: Mentor, guide, and empower a tight-knit team of three (an AM, Exec, and Coordinator), striking the perfect balance between rolling up your sleeves as a 'doer' and delegating effectively.
Master the Pace: Navigate the dynamic 'ebb and flow' of entertainment media, managing the high-energy rush of a title launch while proactively finding ways to challenge yourself and the team during strategic lull periods.
Ideal Skills and Experience
This role is perfectly suited for a proactive, vocal media specialist who loves digging into the numbers to find a great story, isn't afraid to 'manage up', and gets a genuine thrill out of empowering their team to execute world-class campaigns. We’re also looking for;
Media Planning Pedigree: A solid background in media planning and implementation, with a strong, proven emphasis on digital direct and Out-of-Home (OOH) channels.
Data-Driven Curiosity: A genuine passion for diving deep into the data to extract insights, validate audiences, and confidently map out performance-driven journeys for the client.
Proactive Communicator: A highly communicative and open leadership style - someone who loves to collaborate, share ideas vocally, and will never leave their junior team members in the dark.
Upward Management: Brilliant stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to 'manage up' to your Director, push back constructively, and always ask, "how can we do this better?".
Adaptable & Resilient: A flexible mindset that embraces the unique pace of entertainment clients, thriving during busy launch windows while staying highly motivated when the pace naturally slows.
