About BridgeIn Consulting
We help restaurants, cafes, and QSR brands grow through menu strategy, pricing, and online ordering. We're building a small bench of freelancers to deliver Square-powered websites for restaurants and cafes.
The role
You'll build and launch complete Square Online sites for restaurants and cafes, connected to Square POS, on a project-by-project basis. You'll own the build and technical setup from brief to handover.
What you'll do
Build Square Online sites tailored to each restaurant's brand: on-brand and mobile-first
Set up and sync the menu (categories, modifiers, pricing, images) between Square POS and Square Online
Configure the ordering flow: pickup, delivery, fulfilment rules, order notifications, payments, taxes, and tips
Implement on-page SEO: page structure, meta tags, local SEO basics, Google Business Profile linking, site speed
Test end to end (order to POS to kitchen) before handover, and document the setup
What we're looking for
Proven experience building Square Online sites, ideally for restaurants or cafes
Hands-on experience with Square POS integration and menu management
A portfolio of at least 2-3 live Square sites you built (links, not screenshots)
Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals for local businesses
Strong written English and reliable communication; you follow briefs and flag issues early
Comfortable with revisions and hitting agreed deadlines
Based in India
Nice to have
Experience with Square's third-party integrations (delivery platforms, loyalty, marketing tools)
Basic design sense for food photography and menu layout
Familiarity with Square setups across regions (GST, sales tax, payment rules)
