Electrical Engineer

Role Description
We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to design, develop, analyze, and support electrical systems, equipment, and technical solutions. The role involves translating project requirements into reliable electrical designs while ensuring functionality, safety, efficiency, and compliance with applicable engineering standards.
The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop electrical schematics, layouts, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation. Responsibilities include evaluating electrical systems, selecting appropriate components, reviewing designs, supporting testing and commissioning activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
The position also involves analyzing system performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, maintaining engineering documentation, and supporting quality and safety requirements. The Electrical Engineer should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, technical problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and effective communication when working with engineering, project, manufacturing, and operational teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit theory, power systems, and electrical equipment.
Ability to develop and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical drawings.
Familiarity with electrical design software, CAD tools, simulation platforms, and engineering documentation systems.
Knowledge of electrical components such as transformers, switchgear, motors, generators, control panels, cables, and protection devices.
Understanding of electrical calculations, load analysis, power distribution, grounding, and protection systems.
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, safety requirements, and engineering practices.
Ability to evaluate electrical designs for performance, reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for identifying electrical system issues.
Ability to prepare technical specifications, reports, calculations, and engineering documentation.
Familiarity with testing, inspection, commissioning, and quality-control procedures.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to technical detail.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
