About the Role
Nitro Commerce is looking for a Data Analyst with ~2 years of experience to join its analytics team and work on high-impact e-commerce and quick-commerce use cases. The role will focus on digital shelf monitoring, market share tracking, pricing, product availability, and competitor performance across leading marketplaces.
The ideal candidate will combine strong SQL and Python skills with business acumen to translate complex datasets into actionable insights for enterprise and FMCG brands, helping stakeholders identify opportunities to drive month-on-month growth.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and maintain recurring reports, monthly performance dashboards, and automated data checks using SQL and Python.
Analyze category, brand, SKU, and marketplace performance to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Monitor pricing, availability, assortment, market share, and competitor activity across e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms.
Identify key drivers behind changes in sales, revenue, market share, pricing, and availability.
Automate repetitive reporting and data-validation processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Translate technical data findings into clear, actionable business insights for internal and client-facing stakeholders.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver relevant analytical solutions.
Support enterprise/FMCG clients in identifying opportunities to improve marketplace performance and revenue growth.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, E-commerce Analytics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python.
Strong command of Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with BI/dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
Understanding of e-commerce and quick-commerce metrics including revenue/GMV, market share, pricing, availability, assortment, and competitor performance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and communicate insights clearly.
Prior experience with e-commerce, quick-commerce, FMCG/CPG, digital shelf, or marketplace analytics will be an advantage.
