Student Assistant - IT Asset Management

Business Technology & Digital Solutions supports digital transformation at FUJIFILM Biotechnologies by delivering stable, efficient, and compliant IT services. As a Student Assistant, IT Asset Management, you will support the Global Digital Workplace team with maintaining hardware and software asset records, assisting with inventory and procurement activities, and supporting asset lifecycle processes such as deployment, recovery, and retirement.
Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will collaborate with the IT Service Desk, Desktop Engineering, vendors, and business stakeholders to help ensure asset data remains accurate and up to date. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global IT environment while developing knowledge of hardware and software asset management.
What you’ll do
Maintain accurate hardware and software asset records, process routine updates, and help resolve data gaps.
Support purchasing and renewals by gathering requirements, preparing order details, tracking deliveries, and maintaining documentation.
Coordinate device deployment, transfer, recovery, maintenance, and retirement with Desktop Engineering and the Service Desk; follow secure reuse and disposal processes.
Help administer software licenses by recording entitlements, checking usage, and flagging potential underuse/overuse or upcoming renewals.
Create/update knowledge articles, work instructions, basic reports, and audit evidence.
About you
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at a Danish university.
Basic knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365, Teams, and common workplace devices.
Interest in hardware and software asset management, lifecycle processes, inventory control, and software licensing.
Comfort using spreadsheets and business systems to enter, check, and report data.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes consistently.
Customer-focused communication and the ability to work constructively with colleagues across functions and locations.
Practical problem-solving skills, with the judgment to ask questions and escalate when required.
Ability to manage several routine tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
Commitment to learning, teamwork, confidentiality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Practicalities
We expect the Student Assistant to work an average of 15 hours per week. We will be flexible and strive to plan around fitting in hours around your schedule of studies and in exam periods in the best possible way. Start date will be November.
Our office is located at the Manufacturing site in Hillerød, Denmark, which brings together a complete range of expertise, capabilities, and technologies to manufacture advanced biologics.
