About Position:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, SQL, Data Engineering, and modern cloud-based analytics architectures. You will play a critical role in building scalable data solutions that support reporting, analytics, AI/ML, and business intelligence initiatives across the organization.

What You'll Do:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric services including Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, and Real-Time Analytics.
Build and optimize high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and processing large-scale enterprise datasets.
Develop data engineering solutions using PySpark, SQL, Spark Notebooks, and Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
Design and implement Delta Lake architectures to support scalable, reliable, and high-performance analytics workloads.
Integrate data from multiple sources including Azure services, databases, SaaS platforms, APIs, and enterprise applications.
Design and maintain enterprise-grade data models supporting reporting, analytics, self-service BI, and AI/ML use cases.
Develop and optimize data pipelines, storage architectures, and query performance across the data platform.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, data scientists, and analytics teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
Develop, support, and optimize Power BI semantic models, datasets, and reporting solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric.
Implement data quality, governance, security, and monitoring standards across enterprise data environments.
Troubleshoot complex data integration, processing, and performance issues.
Provide technical leadership and guidance for data engineering and platform modernization initiatives.
Contribute to architecture reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement activities.
Expertise You'll Bring:
8-12 years of experience in Data Engineering and Cloud Data Platform development.
Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, PySpark, and SQL.
Proven experience working with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Factory, Data Warehouse, and Real-Time Analytics.
Strong proficiency in PySpark, Spark Notebooks, SQL development, and distributed data processing.
Experience implementing and managing Delta Lake architectures and modern Lakehouse solutions.
Expertise in ETL/ELT development, data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration frameworks.
Strong knowledge of enterprise data modeling, data architecture, and analytics platform design.
Experience optimizing data pipelines, storage solutions, and query performance.
Hands-on experience integrating data from cloud platforms, databases, APIs, and external systems.
Experience supporting Power BI semantic models, datasets, dashboards, and enterprise reporting solutions.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and quality management practices.
Experience working with Git for version control and collaborative development.
Ability to work closely with business, architecture, analytics, and AI/ML teams.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
