Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the software solutions meet the intended requirements and quality standards. The engineer actively oversees the progress of the development lifecycle, ensuring that the applications are built efficiently and effectively to support business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the planning and execution of software design and development activities to meet project goals.
Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure alignment of technical solutions with organizational standards and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data structures and translate them into effective models.
Experience in designing scalable and maintainable data architectures.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges in data modeling.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
This position is based at NGDC1A - NON-STPI.
A 15 years full time education is required.
