Role:
Lead end-to-end cargo operations from booking to discharge, including vessel planning, cargo allocation, port operations and turnaround performance across GCC ports.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage vessel planning, cargo allocation, stowage and vessel turnaround.
Ensure compliance with maritime, port, customs and shipping regulations.
Manage operational costs including port costs, demurrage, detention and stevedoring.
Track KPIs such as vessel TAT, berth productivity, cargo damage, port cost and on-time sailing.
Manage relationships with ports, terminals, customs, freight forwarders and shipping agents.
Drive process improvement, digitalization and automation of cargo operations.
Manage cargo documentation, ERP/TOS/Cargo Management Systems.
Lead and develop multi-location GCC operations teams.
Manage vendors, contracts and SLAs.
Required:
12+ years in Maritime Cargo / Vessel Operations.
Strong GCC port operations experience.
Excellent knowledge of cargo operations and shipping processes.
Strong stakeholder and team management skills.
Willingness to work rotational shifts and travel as required.
