Kefilo is a NutritionTech and personalised wellness transformation company focused on functional nutrition, preventive wellness, gut health, fitness and lifestyle redesign.
We are building a technology-enabled ecosystem that combines personalised nutrition, fitness, mental wellness, food science, data and our Nutrition Intelligence Engine to deliver measurable 90-day transformation programs.

Full-Stack App Developer — Equity-Based Founding Role
Key Responsibilities
Mobile & Web Application Development Build and maintain scalable mobile and web applications across the complete Kefilo customer journey.
Frontend Development Develop responsive, intuitive interfaces for onboarding, assessments, personalised nutrition, wellness programs, subscriptions, food/product journeys and transformation tracking.
Backend Development Build secure backend services, APIs, databases, authentication systems and business logic supporting the Kefilo platform.
Nutrition Intelligence Integration Integrate Kefilo's Nutrition Intelligence Engine into the application to deliver personalised nutrition recommendations, programs, meal/product suggestions and progress insights.
User Journey Development Build end-to-end workflows covering onboarding, health/nutrition assessments, consultation, program selection, subscription, food/product ordering, progress tracking and retention.
Personalisation & Recommendations Implement systems that deliver personalised nutrition, fitness and wellness recommendations based on user data, goals, preferences and transformation progress.
Subscription & Commerce Develop subscription plans, payments, orders, meal/product selection, customer accounts and related transaction workflows.
Dashboards & Analytics Build dashboards for customers, nutritionists, fitness experts, internal teams and management to track progress, engagement, adherence and outcomes.
Third-Party Integrations Integrate payment gateways, communication tools, analytics platforms, wearables, health APIs and other relevant external services.
Data & Security Ensure secure handling of customer, health, nutrition and behavioural data with appropriate authentication, access controls, privacy and data protection practices.
Testing & Deployment Conduct testing, debugging, performance optimisation, deployment and ongoing maintenance across application releases.
Product Collaboration Work closely with the Product Owner, Nutritionists, Food Scientists, Fitness Experts, Data Scientists and R&D team to convert product requirements into working technology.
Scalability & Architecture Design application architecture that can support increasing users, personalised programs, food products, intelligent recommendations and expansion into multiple markets.
Innovation & Automation Explore AI, automation, analytics and emerging technologies that can improve personalisation, customer engagement and operational efficiency.
Ideal Candidate
Strong experience in full-stack application development
Experience building mobile and/or web applications
Strong knowledge of frontend, backend, APIs and databases
Experience with technologies such as React Native, React, Node.js, Python, Java, Kotlin or equivalent
Experience with authentication, payments, cloud services and third-party APIs
Understanding of scalable application architecture
Experience with health, wellness, nutrition, FoodTech or consumer technology is an advantage
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work independently in an early-stage startup
Strong ownership and entrepreneurial mindset

Equity-based founding role
No fixed salary at the current stage
Part-time: approximately 20–25 hours/week
Remote / hybrid
Equity based on contribution, responsibility and long-term commitment
5-year vesting structure for core founding members
Fixed compensation to be introduced after fundraising and revenue stabilisation
Key Outcome
Build and continuously improve the technology backbone of Kefilo — connecting customers, personalised nutrition, wellness programs, food products, transformation tracking and the Nutrition Intelligence Engine into one scalable digital platform.
