We are seeking exceptional talent to join us as Visual Merchandiser overseeing our Australia business, contributing to the continued success and elevated experience our clients expect.
MAIN PURPOSE
Interpret and implement global HQ visual merchandising guidelines, making creative and logical market adaptations while protecting Montblanc’s luxury heritage. Train sales advisors on daily shop floor maintenance, product presentation techniques, and display guidelines.
Compiling zoning plan with strategic business objectives and structured post-installation photo reports
Own and manage Visual Merchandising budget. Plan, track, and execute purchasing for point-of-sales material, window installations, display elements, and ongoing VM tools across all doors
Partner with local production vendors and contractors to oversee seasonal window installations, pop-up builds, and minor in-store production.
Overseeing local storage facilities, managing VM stock counts, and maintaining reuse/recycling workflows for seasonal props.
Precise communication to maintain visual identity standards across Retail boutiques, Travel Retail and Wholesale points of sale in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, and surrounding regions by travelling in person and developing clear VM planograms.
Support Marketing or external events by providing zoning plan, VM set up and logistics arrangement
Collect store feedback and any support needs to share with regional team for any corresponding actions
Serve as the primary communication bridge between the local Australian commercial teams and the South Asia Regional VM office. Effectively balance requirements from retail, wholesale, and regional leadership.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
University graduate in marketing/ design management related
3-5 years working experience in luxury retail or equivalent
Strong analytical skills, attention on details, creative thinking, entrepreneurship. Have a natural eye for detail and creative ability to turn products into attractive displays.
Exceptional inter-personal skills to navigate matrixed reporting structures and balance competing stakeholder priorities.
Experience in managing VM production for window and pop-in.
Experience controlling VM expenses and managing external production vendors/contractors. Organized and able to manage financial task in a timely manner.
Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Teams; Design software – Adobe Photoshop, InDesign
Able to multi-task, reliable, positive attitude and able to work under pressure
Willingness to travel periodically across Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, and regional points of sale.
