Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced a Mobile Development Team Lead to lead the technical direction, development activities, and day-to-day coordination of our Mobile engineering capability.
This role is focused on hands-on technical leadership. The successful candidate will guide the Mobile development team, establish engineering best practices, mentor developers, and work closely with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, QA engineers and Agile Delivery Leads to deliver high-quality mobile applications.
Your responsibilities will entail:
Technical Leadership
Lead the design, development and delivery of iOS and Android applications.
Define and enforce coding standards, architecture principles and engineering best practices.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developers.
Participate in solution design and technical decision-making.
Team Leadership
Coordinate day-to-day development activities.
Support workload planning and execution.
Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
Contribute to technical hiring and onboarding activities.
Product Delivery
Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand requirements.
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Ensure delivery commitments are met while maintaining product quality.
Support release planning and deployment activities.
Quality & Engineering Excellence
Drive implementation of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Promote test automation and quality engineering.
Monitor application performance and technical health.
Address technical debt and architectural improvements.
Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
7+ years of software development experience;
2+ years in a technical leadership, Lead Developer or Team Lead role;
Strong experience in either:
Native iOS (Swift), or
Native Android (Kotlin),
or both platforms.
Experience with mobile application architecture patterns;
Experience integrating mobile applications with APIs and backend services;
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading distributed development teams.
Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
Experience in App Store and Google Play release processes.
Knowledge of mobile security and performance optimization.
