Registered Veterinary nurse (FT or PT)

Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is passionate about nursing, patient care and being a strong advocate for your patients?
Medivet Woodstock is a busy 24-hour hospital with a large and supportive nursing team, and we are looking for an enthusiastic RVN to join our growing team.
We see a high volume and varied caseload every day, providing plenty of opportunities to develop your clinical skills. Our hospital patients and procedures range from routine cases through to orthopaedic surgery, complex soft tissue procedures and more challenging medical and surgical cases.
We are a large team, but we pride ourselves on being one team and one happy family, supporting each other and working together to provide the best possible care for our patients.
The role
The advertised role is based around 10-hour shifts. However, we are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements to find a pattern that works for you.
For example, we can consider:
Full-time hours across longer shifts
Working three days per week
Part-time hours for the right candidate
We are looking for an RVN who:
Is passionate about high-quality veterinary nursing
Has a strong focus on patient welfare and advocacy
Enjoys working with hospitalised patients
Is confident working as part of a busy multidisciplinary team
Is keen to develop their clinical skills and experience
Has a positive, supportive approach to teamwork

About you
You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.
What you’ll be doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
Deliver exceptional care to your clients
Work collaboratively within a supportive team
