From design development and technical specification sheets to fabric sourcing, sampling, fit development and garment production, LA People provides end to end support throughout the product development journey. We work closely with our clients to understand their vision, develop the product and take it through sampling, refinement, production and quality control.

Our team works closely with founders and fashion businesses to simplify the backend of building a collection and turn ideas into well developed, production ready garments.
Role Description
The Fashion Consultant is a full-time, Remote role focused on guiding clients through fashion product decisions while driving sales growth. In this role, the consultant engages with walk-in and referred customers, understands their brand and product needs, and recommends appropriate styles, fabrics, and manufacturing solutions.
Day-to-day responsibilities include presenting LA People’s services, explaining service features and benefits, supporting clients in choosing suitable solutions, and following up on leads to convert inquiries into onboardings. The consultant collaborates with internal teams to ensure smooth handover of client requirements, maintains accurate sales records and customer information. The role requires consistent on-site availability to meet clients, attend internal meetings, and participate in occasional client visits.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and understanding of fashion design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated Fashion Consulting experience, with the ability to advise clients on styles, fits, and branding aligned with market trends.
Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, clarify requirements, and present solutions clearly.
Customer Service skills with a client-focused mindset, including active listening, empathy, and responsiveness.
Proven Sales skills, including lead follow-up, negotiation, and closing, preferably in fashion, retail, or B2B services.
Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Basic proficiency with CRM tools or spreadsheets for tracking leads, customer interactions, and sales reports.
Relevant education or training in fashion, retail management, business, or a related field is advantageous.
Prior experience in fashion retail, brand consulting, or apparel manufacturing sales is a plus.
Salary : 22k-25k + Performance based incentives
