About the Opportunity:
The ENGINEER II, FULL STACK role involves developing and maintaining tools and systems that enhance automation for deploying and managing cloud-based infrastructure. This position contributes to creating solutions that improve cost attribution and cloud efficiency, incorporating AI technologies to optimize financial performance. The role is crucial for sustaining a stable, flexible production environment and advancing the organization's operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership and accountability for deliverables individually and within a team.
Collaborate to brainstorm, define, and build software solutions.
Analyze requirements with business partners and senior engineers to develop robust solutions.
Share technological knowledge to elevate team expertise.
Support architectural and automation strategies under senior guidance.
Provide regular progress updates on assigned projects.
Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in production environments and cross-functional application development.
Proficiency in Go or other object-oriented programming languages for automation tools.
Familiarity with API development and integration using REST, GraphQL, or SOAP.
Ability to design schemas and write SQL queries for relational databases like Postgres or MySQL.
Practical experience with large language models and deploying AI agents in production.
Willingness to learn from senior engineers and adapt to new methodologies.
Attention to detail and sound decision-making skills.
Experience writing automated tests.
Security-focused development and code review practices.
Capability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams.
Bonus Points:
Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
Exposure to authentication/authorization systems.
Familiarity with system tracing and metrics tools such as OpenTracing and Prometheus.
Experience with large-scale bare-metal hardware.
Background in machine learning model development, training, or deployment.
