Software Development Engineer 2

Responsibilities:
Development and testing of key platform features for a startup focusing on the marketing technology space.
Work with a team of engineers and deliver features and functions as outlined by your engineering manager.
Develop using test-driven development for all your work.
Focus on good design and justify your designs.
Be a steward for security and privacy.
Improve engineering processes and standards within the team.
Requirements:
You have 3+ years of work experience as part of a core engineering team at a product company.
Experience with processing, storing, and analyzing very large amounts of data.
Deep understanding and experience working with Java (8 or above) or C#.
Good problem-solving skills and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Supporting Skills:
Container-based development with tools such as Docker.
Experience working with data streaming applications built with Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink, etc.
Experience working with Kubernetes.
