The Manager – Strategic Insights & Impact will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team in India, providing evidence-led insights to support decisions within India's research and higher-education ecosystem.
The role will combine data analysis, research intelligence, policy understanding and strategic storytelling to translate complex datasets, market developments and stakeholder insights into compelling narratives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Data, Analytics & Insights
Analyse research access, usage, publishing and institutional engagement data to identify trends, opportunities and emerging patterns that inform strategic decision-making.
2. Strategic Narrative Development
Convert complex data and research findings into clear, compelling narratives that demonstrate Taylor & Francis' contribution to research accessibility and impact within India's research ecosystem.
3. Executive & Leadership Support
Provide evidence-led insights to support senior leadership decisions, including briefing notes, talking points, presentations and leadership briefings on India's evolving scholarly communications landscape.
4. Research Ecosystem Intelligence
Monitor and translate relevant developments in India's research and higher-education landscape.
5. Impact Measurement & Storytelling
Establish frameworks to measure and communicate Taylor & Francis' contribution within ONOS, supported by institutional and researcher success stories.
6. Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with GTM and Content leads, institutions and researchers to gather intelligence and insights that support senior leadership engagement with relevant research and higher-education stakeholders.
Key Deliverables
The role will be expected to develop:
Quarterly Research & Publishing Intelligence Reports
MD briefing packs and policy intelligence notes
Impact case studies and researcher stories
Thought leadership articles, speeches and opinion pieces
What Success Looks Like in This Role
During the 12-month assignment, the role should establish a credible evidence base that strengthens Taylor & Francis' strategic conversations with government and research stakeholders.
This is a fixed term contract role.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Significant experience in strategic insights, policy research, analytics, communications, research intelligence, higher education or scholarly publishing is preferrable.
Strong ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data and translate it into strategic insights.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to senior audiences.
Experience with data visualisation tools.
