Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Java Front-End / Senior Full Stack Engineer with 12+ years of software development experience and strong expertise in Angular, Java, Node.js, and modern front-end technologies.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in developing scalable web applications, building responsive user interfaces, developing backend services, and integrating front-end applications with Java and Node.js-based APIs. The candidate will work closely with technical leads, architects, product teams, and other engineering teams to design and deliver high-quality enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications.
Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular.
Build reusable UI components, modules, and front-end services using modern Angular practices.
Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java.
Work with Node.js for backend services, APIs, integrations, and supporting application components.
Integrate Angular applications with Java and Node.js backend services.
Translate business and technical requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Participate in application design, architecture discussions, coding, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and production issues.
Optimize application performance, scalability, responsiveness, and reliability.
Ensure coding standards, design principles, security guidelines, and development best practices are followed.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, architects, QA teams, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.
Review existing applications and recommend improvements, modernization, and optimization opportunities.
Ensure proper documentation of technical solutions, APIs, application components, and development processes.
Required Technical Skills Front-End
Strong hands-on experience with Angular.
Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience developing responsive and cross-browser compatible web applications.
Experience with Angular components, services, modules, routing, forms, and state management.
Good understanding of front-end performance optimization and reusable component development.
Java / Backend
Strong hands-on experience with Java and enterprise application development.
Strong understanding of Java-based backend development and REST APIs.
Experience with Spring / Spring Boot is preferred.
Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and API integration.
Node.js
Hands-on experience with Node.js development.
Experience developing REST APIs and backend services using Node.js.
Experience integrating Node.js services with front-end applications.
Good understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
Additional Skills
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with API integration between Angular, Java, and Node.js applications.
Good understanding of Git and source-code management practices.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of application security and secure coding practices.
Experience with CI/CD and cloud environments is an added advantage.
Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar databases is preferred.
