SAP GRC Consultant

About Position:
We are seeking an experienced SAP GRC Consultant with strong expertise in SAP GRC Access Control, Process Control, and Business Integrity Screening (BIS). The ideal candidate will play a customer-facing role, leading SAP GRC implementations, migrations, upgrades, and enhancement initiatives while ensuring compliance, risk management, and governance objectives are achieved. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, compliance teams, security teams, and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP GRC solutions. You will be responsible for SAP GRC Access Control 10.x to 12.x migration projects, new SAP GRC Access Control implementations, Process Control configurations, BIS implementations, and governance transformation initiatives.

What You'll Do:
Assess existing SAP GRC landscapes, integrations, connectors, plug-ins, risks, compliance controls, and governance processes.
Lead SAP GRC Access Control migration projects from Version 10.x to Version 12.x.
Support end-to-end implementation of new SAP GRC Access Control 12 environments.
Configure and validate SAP GRC Access Control modules and workflows.
Design and maintain compliant access management and governance frameworks.
Configure business roles, ownership structures, approval workflows, and access control processes.
Coordinate installation and validation of plug-ins and connectors across SAP and non-SAP applications.
Perform Risk Matrix import and export activities.
Validate risk rule completeness, consistency, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.
Utilize and troubleshoot GRAC* programs for migration, implementation, validation, and operational support.
Configure and support SAP GRC Process Control solutions based on compliance and business requirements.
Implement and configure SAP Business Integrity Screening (BIS) solutions.
Design and configure Detection Strategies and Detection Methods within BIS.
Conduct client workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
Provide governance, risk, and compliance recommendations aligned with business objectives.
Develop implementation strategies, migration plans, timelines, cutover plans, and deployment roadmaps.
Manage project risks, dependencies, assumptions, and issue resolution activities.
Support Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities.
Collaborate with security, compliance, audit, development, and business teams throughout project delivery.
Prepare configuration documents, functional specifications, training materials, test scripts, and operational runbooks.
Drive knowledge transfer sessions and support operational readiness activities.
Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
Expertise You'll Bring:
8-12 years of SAP GRC consulting experience.
Strong expertise in SAP GRC Access Control implementation and support.
Proven experience with SAP GRC Access Control Version 10.x to Version 12.x migrations.
Experience implementing new SAP GRC Access Control 12 environments.
Strong understanding of Access Request Management (ARM), Emergency Access Management (EAM), Access Risk Analysis (ARA), Business Role Management (BRM).
Experience configuring workflows, approval processes, and compliance controls.
Knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) frameworks and access governance principles.
Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Process Control solutions.
Experience configuring controls, assessments, surveys, issue management, and monitoring frameworks.
Strong understanding of compliance and internal control management processes.
Ability to align process controls with governance and audit requirements.
Experience supporting risk and compliance assessments.
Functional and customization experience with SAP Business Integrity Screening.
Experience configuring Detection Strategies, Detection Methods, Risk Indicators, Compliance Monitoring Rules.
Understanding of fraud prevention, compliance monitoring, and anomaly detection processes.
Experience supporting BIS implementations and operational support activities.
Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
Experience performing risk assessments and control validation.
Knowledge of audit requirements and regulatory compliance standards.
Ability to identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Experience supporting governance transformation initiatives.
Experience integrating SAP GRC with SAP and non-SAP applications.
Understanding of connectors, plug-ins, and integration architecture.
Experience with Risk Matrix import/export activities and validations.
Familiarity with SAP HCI, SAP Integration technologies, and enterprise system connectivity.
Understanding of SAP security concepts and authorization management.
Proven experience leading SAP GRC implementation and migration projects.
Ability to independently manage project planning and execution activities.
Experience conducting client workshops and stakeholder discussions.
Strong customer-facing consulting skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation capabilities.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work with global teams and multiple business units.
Experience supporting Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Cutover Planning, Go-Live Support, Hypercare Support.
