Join our team of experienced architects and engineers and take the next step in your architectural career with a role that balances independent work with collaborative teamwork. As an Architect, you'll lead construction drawing development, coordinate with engineering disciplines, and gain valuable construction administration experience. This position offers the opportunity to expand your technical expertise and take on greater project responsibility while working alongside seasoned professionals on a variety of projects.
What You’ll Do
Lead the development of detailed construction drawings from design development through completing construction documentation
Coordinate architectural design efforts with various engineering disciplines as part of a team providing design and technical leadership on select projects throughout various project phases
Conduct field visits during construction phase to monitor progress, and complete reporting
Review shop drawings, project data and samples of materials during construction
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Architecture required; degree from an NAAB-accredited program preferred. Master of Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program also preferred
Registered Architect in the state of employment, or eligibility for reciprocal licensure through NCARB certification
5 – 15 years of professional architectural experience
Experience with multiple building types, project typologies as well as understanding of building codes, construction methods, and technical detailing
Ability to develop construction details
Strong proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam and MS Office Suite
Adaptable and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach to problem solving
Highly detail-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy and quality
Excellent communication skills, eager to learn and expand technical knowledge
Adaptable and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as a proactive approach to problem solving
