Solution Architect

Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced a Solution Architect to act as the end-to-end architecture owner for energy platforms and delivery streams.
In this role, you will maintain architectural integrity across customer channels, web and mobile applications, digital services, APIs, enterprise integrations, cloud platforms, data platforms, observability capabilities, security controls, and third-party integrations.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, Engineering Teams, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Operations, and external partners to ensure solution designs align with business objectives, architecture standards, security requirements, and delivery commitments.
Your responsibilities will entail:
Own and govern the end-to-end solution architecture across business, application, integration, data, security, infrastructure, and operational domains;
Act as the primary architecture authority for assigned delivery streams and strategic initiatives;
Maintain and evolve HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, integration views, data flow views, security architecture, architecture decision records, and non-functional requirements;
Govern solution design across web applications, mobile applications, digital service layers, API gateways, integration platforms, identity services, Azure cloud services, Kubernetes platforms, messaging systems, observability platforms, databases, and third-party integrations;
Review and approve designs related to authentication, authorization, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, API security, encryption, certificate management, RBAC, monitoring, logging, tracing, auditability, and operational readiness;
Support impact assessments for change requests, integration changes, platform modernisation activities, technical debt remediation, non-functional requirements, and production readiness;
Provide architecture guidance to Technical Leads, DevSecOps Engineers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, vendors, and development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle;
Facilitate architecture and design workshops with business stakeholders, implementation teams, and external partners;
Identify architectural risks, technical constraints, delivery dependencies, and platform improvement opportunities;
Support major production incidents, root-cause analysis activities, release governance processes, and platform evolution initiatives;
Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
Significant Solution Architecture experience in large-scale enterprise digital platforms;
Strong knowledge of modern application architecture, cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, API-first design, and enterprise integration patterns;
Experience designing and governing solutions built on Microsoft Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Entra ID;
Experience with web, mobile, backend service, and API ecosystems supporting high-volume customer-facing platforms;
Strong understanding of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, asynchronous integration patterns, containerized workloads, Kubernetes, and enterprise application architectures;
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, Redis, messaging technologies, and distributed data architectures;
Experience with identity and access management, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, API security, encryption, certificate management, secrets management, and secure architecture principles;
Ability to produce and govern HLDs, LLDs, integration designs, architecture decision records, sequence diagrams, data flows, and non-functional requirements;
Strong knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and operational architecture;
Strong communication skills with both technical teams and senior stakeholders;
Ability to balance architecture governance with delivery pragmatism;
Experience working across multiple teams, vendors, partners, and technology domains within complex delivery environments.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with React, Android, iOS, Kotlin Multiplatform, Salesforce, Oracle-based platforms, Kafka, Grafana, Firebase, and Microsoft Sentinel.
Experience leading architecture activities across multiple delivery streams and vendor teams.
Experience with platform modernisation, cloud transformation, and large-scale digital transformation programmes.
TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Kubernetes, or related architecture certifications.
