Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Services Engineer role based in Gujarat, India. The Field Services Engineer will visit customer locations to install, commission, inspect, and maintain solar energy systems and related equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. The role involves providing clear technical guidance, documenting service activities, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve complex problems. The engineer will also interact with customers to explain findings, train end users on basic operation, and ensure a positive service experience aligned with company standards.
Qualifications
Field Service skills for on-site installation, commissioning, and system checks
Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve equipment and system issues
Preventive Maintenance skills to plan and execute regular inspections and performance optimization
Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and ensure client satisfaction
Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline
Experience in solar or renewable energy systems is highly preferred
Ability to work safely in field conditions and follow relevant electrical and safety standards
Strong documentation skills and basic proficiency with service reporting tools
Willingness to travel within Gujarat and occasionally to other regions as required
