Role Description
Commercial Lending Domain SME
Experience: 10+ years in Commercial Lending Operations, Transformation, or Consulting
Role Summary
Serve as the Commercial Lending Subject Matter Expert (SME) for lending transformation initiatives, providing domain expertise across loan origination, underwriting, credit approval, documentation, servicing, collateral management, and compliance. Support business analysis, solution design, stakeholder workshops, and implementation programs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide domain expertise across Commercial Lending lifecycle.
Lead client workshops, requirement gathering, and process assessments.
Define business requirements, target operating models, and process improvements.
Support solution design, UAT, and production readiness activities.
Advise on lending regulations, controls, and operational best practices.
Collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of:
Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Lending
Commercial Real Estate (CRE)
Loan Origination & Underwriting
Loan Closing & Servicing
Collateral & Covenant Management
Experience with platforms such as nCino, Loan IQ, AFS, Fiserv, Salesforce FSC, or equivalent.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
