Position – Digital Workplace (AD & M365)
M365 & Active Directory Solution Architect (Migration & Presales Lead)
M365 & Active Directory Solution Architect with specialized expertise in SharePoint Enterprise Platforms, Migration Engineering, and IT Presales Solutioning. Candidate will lead complex workplace transformation initiatives, architect end-to-end M365 and hybrid Active Directory environments, design robust enterprise migration strategies, and partner closely with executive sales teams to pitch, estimate, and close large-scale digital workplace deals.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Engineering Design: Design and deploy enterprise-grade Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, hybrid Active Directory, and SharePoint (Online/On-Premises) architectures.
Migration Solutioning: Lead end-to-end migration strategies for identity, emails, documents, and workflows (e.g., AD forest consolidations, tenant-to-tenant M365 migrations, SharePoint Server to SharePoint Online, File Share to OneDrive/Teams).
Presales & Deal Engagement: Act as the Lead Technical Architect during bid management cycles. Own RFP/RFI responses, Solution Design Documents (SDD), Statement of Work (SOW) drafting, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models, and resource effort estimations.
Executive Presentations: Deliver technical discovery sessions, solution pitches, proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations, and architectural defenses to C-suite and senior client stakeholders.
SharePoint Platform Oversight: Architect information architecture, governance frameworks, site hierarchies, security compliance models, and custom integration strategies for enterprise SharePoint instances.
Tooling & Automation: Define and deploy enterprise migration frameworks using tools such as Quest, BitTitan, AvePoint, ShareGate, and Microsoft Native tools (SPMT, M365 Migration Center).

Experience
10+ years in Enterprise IT Infrastructure; 5+ years dedicated as an M365/AD Solution Architect with direct involvement in presales/RFP solutioning.
Migration Expertise
Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex migrations across AD, Exchange, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
SharePoint Depth
Deep functional and technical knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019), Power Platform integrations, and content governance models.
Presales Leadership
Strong capability to convert abstract client requirements into scoped, priced, and actionable technical deliverables and proposals.
Tool Mastery
Advanced proficiency in Quest Migration Manager, AvePoint, ShareGate, BitTitan, PowerShell scripting, and Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) toolsets.
Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, or relevant Quest/ShareGate migration certifications preferred.
