The Financial Analyst contributes to the analysis, planning, and monitoring of the company’s financial performance. They provide relevant analyses and recommendations that support decision-making while working closely with business partners and operational teams.
This role contributes to ABB Canada’s Electrification, Installation Products division and is based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
This is a temporary, 6-month, part-time position with 24 hours of work per week.
Responsibilities
Analyze financial results and prepare periodic management reports.
Participate in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and profitability analyses.
Perform analyses related to inventory activities, standard costs, and other expenses associated with the business unit.
Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and management tools.
Qualifications
University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and a strong sense of accountability.
Initiative and a proactive approach.
Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
Adaptability and ability to work effectively in a changing environment.
