Work:
Setting up developer desktop and setup local application (DB included) that would speed up onboarding, application development and debugging.
Upgrade internal application to latest Java21, Spring 6.x and migrate Struts to Spring framework.
Skill set:
Java, Spring, Struts, Maven, WebSphere or Liberty, Docker, Open rewrite, and Oracle DB
AI Technologies like Claude Code/CLI
Past J2ee application upgrade experience to latest Java 21 version.
Additinoal skills for Java - Dockerized databases (setting up, running, or managing databases inside Docker containers)
AWS LocalStack (for local cloud simulation and testing)
