Compensation: $104–$114/hr on W2
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer with strong, hands-on Palantir Foundry development experience. The ideal candidate will be capable of owning the full SDLC, from data ingestion and transformation through Ontology modeling, application development, testing, deployment, and production support.
This role requires someone who can work directly with stakeholders, design scalable solutions, troubleshoot complex data and connectivity issues, and clearly explain the architecture and technical decisions behind their solutions.
Must-Have Skills
2+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry development
Palantir Foundry Data Engineering & Development
Strong Python / PySpark and SQL skills
Experience building and optimizing Foundry Transforms
Strong understanding of Foundry Ontology, including:
Object Types
Link Types
Actions
Interfaces
Functions
OSDK + React/TypeScript experience
Experience building OSDK or Workshop applications
Solution Architecture & Stakeholder Management
Experience working with multiple data sources, data connectivity, integration, and troubleshooting
Ability to own solutions across the entire SDLC
Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders
What You’ll Do
Develop end-to-end solutions using Palantir Foundry
Ingest, integrate, transform, and optimize data from multiple sources
Build and optimize Python/PySpark and SQL-based Foundry pipelines
Design and implement Foundry Ontology models and explain architectural decisions and best practices
Develop applications using OSDK, React, TypeScript, and/or Workshop
Design technical solutions and architecture rather than simply implementing predefined designs
Perform testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support
Take ownership of delivery and resolve production issues
Collaborate directly with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver business-focused solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a Forward Deployed, Consulting, or Center of Practice environment
Strong GCP experience preferred; experience with other cloud platforms will also be considered
5–10 years of overall professional experience is acceptable if the candidate has strong hands-on Palantir Foundry development experience
Ideal Candidate
The strongest candidates will be able to demonstrate what they personally built in Palantir Foundry, including the challenges they encountered, the technical decisions they made, and how they solved those challenges.
