Physiotherapist

Assess and treat musculoskeletal injuries including WSIB, MVA, and extended health. Utilize excellent assessment and treatment skills in geriatrics, neurology and orthopaedics with goal-oriented treatment plans and discharge management. Participate in promotional activities, community education, program development and Accreditation standards.

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution required
Current Registration and in good standing, with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario required (with evidence of insurance coverage)
Experience working in an outpatient setting is an asset
Ability to motivate, be empathetic and client-centered in all interactions with patients
Have a thorough understanding of confidentiality and patient dignity
Initiative, good problem solving and excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact effectively with an interprofessional team
Must be flexible and show an ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with all team members
Strong organizational abilities with efficient time management skills
Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
