Housekeeper

Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and cleaning surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
Implement proper sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment in kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas.
Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care.
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively to maintain floors, furniture, and fixtures.
Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate professionally with residents or clients to understand specific cleaning needs or preferences.
Maintain organized cleaning schedules and manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks promptly.
Skills
Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with janitorial or custodial background preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces including carpets, floors (including floor care), and outdoor areas.
Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and sanitation products along with proper usage procedures.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or clients.
Ability to perform outdoor work when necessary, including outdoor surface cleaning or yard maintenance.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day.
Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
