Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts for residential interiors, from initial client consultation through final execution. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site visits, understanding client requirements, creating space plans, and preparing detailed drawings and presentations. The role involves selecting materials, finishes, and furniture, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring designs are implemented according to specifications, budget, and timelines. The Interior Designer will collaborate with the project team to resolve on-site design issues and maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the project. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications
Ability to create functional and aesthetic layouts using Space Planning and Interior Design skills.
Knowledge of Architecture principles and Construction Drawings for accurate design documentation.
Experience client handling and in selecting and specifying design intent and budget.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion or similar tools).
Strong visual design sense, attention to detail, and understanding of materials, finishes, and lighting.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, vendors, and site teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; relevant work experience in residential / corporate interiors is preferred.
