Senior Fullstack Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a ground-floor engineering opportunity at a Series B fintech SaaS company building an AI-native platform that helps finance teams modernize planning, analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with senior technical leadership and cross-functional teammates to deliver high-impact features across multiple product engineering teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner with leadership and teammates to prioritize and execute on the product roadmap.
- Design, develop, and own complex features and software components end to end.
- Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested code across the full stack.
- Help establish engineering best practices that lay the foundation for a high-performing team and culture.
- Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to continuously improve the product.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 5 years of software development experience, with at least 1 year contributing to system design or architecture.
- Full-stack proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.
- Solid experience building frontends with React; balanced full-stack or strongly frontend-focused background preferred.
- Experience using MongoDB as an application database.
- Experience with BigQuery for analytics and querying large datasets.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Interest in AI-focused product work within a fast-moving, distributed team.
- Proven ability to work remotely from the Americas and collaborate effectively across time zones.
- Strong collaboration skills working alongside senior technical leadership and cross-functional teams.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary range: $150,000 to $220,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
Fully remote. Open to candidates based in Canada or the United States.
